Please be advised that Concord Public Work’s contractor for the Concord Center,Parking Lot Project, Allied Paving Corp, will resume work within the Walden Street and Keyes Road parking lots, Wednesday, 10/17/2018. The remaining work will include, landscaping, repaving the alleyway by Main Street Café, installing the top course of pavement within the Keyes Road lots, signage, pavement markings, and final clean up. The work is expected to be completed by the end of October. Portions of the parking lots will be temporarily blocked off to allow crews to complete the work. About Chief Joseph O'Connor
Chief Joseph O’Connor joined the Concord Police Department in June of 2014 after having served on the MBTA Transit Police Department with distinction from 1990-2014 and previously served as a police officer for the towns of Dennis and Winchester during his career. He rose through the ranks of the Transit Police, from Patrolman to Superintendent-in-Chief.
He holds a master’s degree in criminal justice from Boston University, and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Curry College. He is also a graduate of the prestigious FBI National Academy and the Police Executive Research Forum's Senior Management Institute for Police.
