At approximately 10:20 a.m. a truck in the area of 290 Baker Ave. pulled down utility wires. CMLP is on scene and are restoring power. Some people may experience disruption of Verizon and Comcast Service until repairs are made. There were no injuries as a result of this incident.
About Chief Joseph O'Connor
Chief Joseph O’Connor joined the Concord Police Department in June of 2014 after having served on the MBTA Transit Police Department with distinction from 1990-2014 and previously served as a police officer for the towns of Dennis and Winchester during his career. He rose through the ranks of the Transit Police, from Patrolman to Superintendent-in-Chief.
He holds a master’s degree in criminal justice from Boston University, and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Curry College. He is also a graduate of the prestigious FBI National Academy and the Police Executive Research Forum's Senior Management Institute for Police.
