The Concord Police Department is selling pink patches to support Emerson Hospital’s Breast Health Center. The pink patches are available at the Concord Police Station for $5 through October’s Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The Concord Police chose to support the charity based on many loved ones, friends, and neighbors whose lives have been impacted by breast cancer. The public is invited to purchase a pink patch at the police station anytime day or night. The Pink Patch project began in California and has grown across the country. Concord is the only police department in the greater area to have the pink patches this year.
