On October 1, 2018 at the Special Town Meeting, authorization was given to the Town to proceed with the hiring of an additional police officer which will allow for the assignment of a second School Resource Officer.
Police Officer Kevin Gena has been selected for the position. Officer Gena has been a Police Officer for approximately eight years. He joined the Concord Police Department in 2017 after serving with the Keene, NH Police Department for seven years. Officer Gena has experience working with youth and is looking forward to his new assignment which will be focused on the Middle School.

On Monday, October 15, 2018 Officer Gena will assume his new duties. He will work closely with the current School Resource Officer Detective Scott Camilleri to provide, “Exceptional Service. All of The Time.”
