Please be advised that Concord Public Work’s contractor for the Roads Program, Lazaro Paving, and sub-contractor, Fenton and Son, will begin drainage utility work on Baker Avenue and Baker Avenue Extension beginning Monday, May 6th, 2019. Crews will start on Baker Avenue between the intersection of Main Street (Route 62) and the Commuter Rail Tracks and continue their work up to and through Baker Ave Extension. There will be alternating traffic throughout the work zone, however expect localized delays near the construction crews and seek alternate routes, if possible. About Chief Joseph O'Connor
Chief Joseph O’Connor joined the Concord Police Department in June of 2014 after having served on the MBTA Transit Police Department with distinction from 1990-2014 and previously served as a police officer for the towns of Dennis and Winchester during his career. He rose through the ranks of the Transit Police, from Patrolman to Superintendent-in-Chief.
He holds a master’s degree in criminal justice from Boston University, and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Curry College. He is also a graduate of the prestigious FBI National Academy and the Police Executive Research Forum's Senior Management Institute for Police.
