Concord Police Seeking to Identify Women Who Allegedly Stole Cell Phones from Store
CONCORD — Chief Joseph O’Connor reports that the Concord Police Department is investigating a larceny of two cell phones at a store Friday afternoon and is seeking the public’s help in identifying a pair of suspects.
At approximately 3:15 p.m. Friday, May 24, Concord Police responded to IM Wireless, 191 Sudbury Road, for a report of a larceny.
Upon arrival, officers spoke to a store employee who told them that two women had walked into the store, approached the Apple iPhone display and ripped two iPhone X phones away from the alarmed display. The women then ran out of the store and fled the area in a vehicle.
Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the women.
In reviewing the video surveillance footage from the store, one woman was estimated to between 18-23 years old, with a short, heavy-set build. She was wearing a black hooded jacket, tight-fitting blue pants and royal blue sneakers.
The second suspect was approximately 18-23 years old, who was tall with an athletic build. She was wearing a dark sweatshirt with the word “Pink” across the front, black tight-fitting pants and sneakers.
Anyone with information about the incident or who can identify the two women is asked to call the Concord Police Department at 978-318-3400.
These are allegations. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty.
