Please be advised that paving operations will commence on Old Marlboro Road (between Old Road to Nine Arce Corner (ORNAC) and Harrington Ave.) on Sunday, November 10, 2019 beginning at 7:00 AM until Completion. This work entails paving the top one and one half inches of pavement in areas of previous milling. Heavy equipment will be present and operational. There will be one-way traffic allowed Northeast bound (towards Emerson Hospital). Southbound traffic will be detoured down ORNAC to Williams Road to avoid the construction area (SEE DETOUR MAP LINKED BELOW). About Chief Joseph O'Connor
Chief Joseph O’Connor joined the Concord Police Department in June of 2014 after having served on the MBTA Transit Police Department with distinction from 1990-2014 and previously served as a police officer for the towns of Dennis and Winchester during his career. He rose through the ranks of the Transit Police, from Patrolman to Superintendent-in-Chief.
He holds a master’s degree in criminal justice from Boston University, and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Curry College. He is also a graduate of the prestigious FBI National Academy and the Police Executive Research Forum's Senior Management Institute for Police.
