Please be advised that culvert replacement work will commence on Monday, February 3, 2020 at 7:00 AM on Cambridge Turnpike (between House #571 and Sidney Lane). This work entails the partial closure of Cambridge Turnpike, which will affect thru traffic. Houses west of house #571 will require accessing their neighborhood via Hawthorne Lane only. Heavy equipment will be present and operational. Expect localized delays near the construction site and added commute times entering and exiting the neighborhood. About Chief Joseph O'Connor
Chief Joseph O’Connor joined the Concord Police Department in June of 2014 after having served on the MBTA Transit Police Department with distinction from 1990-2014 and previously served as a police officer for the towns of Dennis and Winchester during his career. He rose through the ranks of the Transit Police, from Patrolman to Superintendent-in-Chief.
He holds a master’s degree in criminal justice from Boston University, and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Curry College. He is also a graduate of the prestigious FBI National Academy and the Police Executive Research Forum's Senior Management Institute for Police.
