Please be advised that construction road work will occur on: Sudbury Road, Old Marlboro Road, Walden Street and Monument Street on Thursday, May 14th at 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM and continue the following day. This work entails site clean-up and loaming and seeding of disturbed areas from road construction that occurred in Autumn 2019. Heavy equipment will be present and operational. Alternating traffic will be maintained, however, expect localized delays near the construction crews and seek alternate routes, if possible. About Chief Joseph O'Connor
Chief Joseph O’Connor joined the Concord Police Department in June of 2014 after having served on the MBTA Transit Police Department with distinction from 1990-2014 and previously served as a police officer for the towns of Dennis and Winchester during his career. He rose through the ranks of the Transit Police, from Patrolman to Superintendent-in-Chief.
He holds a master’s degree in criminal justice from Boston University, and a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Curry College. He is also a graduate of the prestigious FBI National Academy and the Police Executive Research Forum's Senior Management Institute for Police.
