Update: Women Identified in Fatal Pedestrian Crash in Concord
Middlesex District Attorney Marian Ryan and Concord Chief of Police Joseph O’Connor have confirmed that the victim in the fatal pedestrian crash that occurred on August 13, 2020, in Concord was Jennifer Bemis, 67 of Concord.
Preliminary investigation suggests that at approximately 10:30 a.m., the driver of a 2010 black Toyota, a 91-year-old Littleton woman, was driving through the intersection at Main Street and Thoreau Street when she allegedly struck the victim. Jennifer Bemis was transported to an area hospital where she was pronounced dead. The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene.
No charges have been filed at this time.
This is an open and ongoing investigation being conducted by the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, Concord Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section.
